Zambia could be your next holiday destination!

You probably wont be immediately think of Zambia as a possible holiday destination. However it is a place that everybody must visit if they ever get the chance too.  Now that kenya is halving the cost of it’s Visa’s to £25 for an adult, these holidays will be well worth a visit.

Zambia is undisputedly most famous for the Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and you won’t be surprised when you see it. This majestic waterfall is known to the local people as Mosi-Oa-Tunya, which means “Smoke That Thunders”. When the waters go over the edge of the cliff and hit the bottom of the gorge they bellow upwards in a cloudy mist, like an erupting volcano. Zambia holidays have become more and more popular thanks to these waterfalls.

The sheer amazing sight of these falls is not the only reason to visit them. In September and December, the level of water lowers just enough for you to get in and have a swim. When the waters reach a low level and are only just skimming the top of the cliff edge before they go into the gorge, a safe natural swimming pool appears. The Devils Armchair was the name that was bestowed upon this fantastic natural pool creation.

There is also a Victoria Falls National Park. This Park is opened to visitors throughout the year and offers tourists a look into the Safari Life. The National Park is 23 kilometres squared and has animals ranging from Hippopotamus to Antelope. Also you can walk this National Park, with a guide obviously. The fact is that instead of being stuck in a jeep, you can scour the vegetation and get stuck in with the wilderness. Kenya holidays and Tanzania holidays have become a lot more popular recently as well, this is due to the fantastic Safari’s that they offer.

So if you want to go and see some of the most amazing sights in the world, you should consider going to Africa and make your next holiday something different.
