What’s happening? Asia holidays are just as popular as Caribbean holidays?

The Caribbean has been seeing an increase in holiday bookings over the past ten years, but is the time of the Caribbean holiday coming to an end?

Looking at all of the statistics provided by tour operators across the UK, and looking at the amount of specific holiday searches in the UK, people tourists have located a new holiday passion. The Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays have both seen an increase in the amount of people booking holidays to these fantastic places. Even general searches on Google have gone through the roof, Maldives or Indian Ocean holidays are on the rise. Then again, why are people looking for these holidays? Basically there are 2 reasons.

Money is a way to every man’s heart, so dropping the prices is very enticing. These holidays have gone down in price by massive amounts. Well when you think about it, they have had to; prices across the world have been dropping. If Asia wants to keep up with other large holiday locations like Egypt or the Caribbean, of course they will need to be dishing out all kinds of deals.

But what else is there that makes this place so special? There must be something else that is enticing people to these locations. It is easy to assume that just the price would affect people’s decisions, but on seeing the pictures of the resorts, the realisation of how beautiful these resorts are comes to life. Almost everywhere you look, there are 4 or 5 star hotels, most of them of which even offer spa holidays, which are already a growing holiday in Asia.

Many of the Tour Operators have started to move Asian holidays towards the top of their list for most wanted holidays. Not to mention a large amount of deals and offers being spread about too. So is it just that as the holidays get closer to Christmas, people are looking for spa holidays, warm Christmas holidays are a little strange.
