Which cars are best suited for the desert, and which can get you across desert conditions the best. People always argue about which cars are the best for what environment, but when you think about it, one of these three is the best. I will give you three categories of cars, best suited for these conditions, all you need to do is decide which of these is the best and which type, I will of course help out a bit.
The majestic Dune Buggy. Sounds pretty obvious really doesn’t it, and no there isn’t just one of these, there is a whole range of them. Most of these cars are custom built, they have smallish engines, if you use one to large, it is hard to control. Once more, the Dune Buggy can travel at great speeds with little difficulty on the sand. It is light and very durable, and the suspension allows it to be very agile and fast, without damaging the vehicle.
Here comes the SUV. Not really meant for the desert, these cars have slowly been designed to look after children, rather than worry what the road is like. It has become a bit of a shambles, but they can still be quite nimble and of course being a 4×4 means that it has good grip and the ability to traverse some tough terrain. This car does have a couple of perks, one is being shielded from the harsh sands, the second is that you can carry more luggage, and people. However the Dune Buggy still has more potential than the Dune Buggy, namely it’s speed and suspension.
By far this is the god of ATV. The Big the one and only Monster Truck, the ultimate ATV. Now these generally are kit cars, built at home or in a specialised garage. These cars have a supremely unmatchable amount of power, and the suspension is great, being able to travel over harsh land. There is one main problem, and that has got to be fuel consumption. Make sure that there is plenty of petrol or diesel on board, otherwise your in trouble.
So which of these is the best to vacate around on Egypt holidays, you may want use one for Maldives holidays, but only if it can float.
